Everything you need to know about buying and selling on Kormart.
What is Kormart?
Kormart is a secure marketplace that connects buyers and sellers. Transactions are protected using Kormart Shield (escrow system).
How does Kormart Shield work?
When a buyer makes payment, the money is held securely by Kormart. The seller receives payment only after the buyer confirms delivery or a dispute is resolved.
Is my money safe?
Yes. Payments are held in escrow and are not released until the transaction is successfully completed.
Do I need to verify my identity?
Yes. Kormart may require identity verification (including BVN where necessary) to prevent fraud and enable withdrawals or high-value transactions. Your data is securely encrypted and protected.
How do I open a dispute?
Go to your order page and tap 'Open Dispute' within the allowed timeframe. Provide clear evidence such as photos or videos.
When will the seller receive payment?
Funds are released when: 1. The buyer confirms receipt, OR 2. The dispute is resolved in favor of the seller, OR 3. The buyer fails to act within the confirmation window.
What happens if I confirm delivery?
Once you mark an item as 'Received,' funds are released to the seller and the transaction is considered complete.
What items are not allowed on Kormart?
Illegal goods, weapons, drugs, counterfeit products, stolen items, and fraudulent listings are strictly prohibited.
Can I meet the seller in person?
Yes, but we strongly recommend using Kormart Shield for payment protection.
